STRIKE DATES CANCELLED FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS
This is an update to our previous post regarding the November strike days when the strike action resumes please see here for any useful materials CWU November strike days (nfsp.org.uk)
The CWU has announced their decision to withdraw industrial action notices for the next two weeks, with action set to resume on Saturday 12 November. Please remove customer information posters with dates for this week and let customers know that there won’t be disruption to services.
This decision was made following a letter the CWU received from Royal Mail, which attributed the strike action to rising losses and job cuts.
Last month’s NFSP survey revealed that 87% of postmasters had experienced a negative impact on their businesses during the recent strikes, and we’d like to understand if this impact is short or long-term.
Therefore, we would like to hear how the previous strike action dates affected your business and any personal impact you may have experienced from customers.
