How to report ATM issues to PO

A number of members across the network have been experiencing ongoing issues with their ATMs, with a higher than usual percentage of banknotes being rejected and purged. This seems to be particularly impacting the dispense of £20 banknotes.

The NFSP contacted Post Office Ltd (PO) and asked for guidance for our members. PO have informed the NFSP that they are acutely aware of the issue and that they are working to resolve this with Cennox.

They have asked for any members impacted to do the following:

  1. In the first instance, members should contact the ATM Helpdesk operated by Cennox on 0333 3606465
  2. If the problem is not fixed within 24 hours, then members should escalate to ATMteam@postoffice.co.uk
  3. If members are still not satisfied, then they should contact the NFSP on 01273 452324
  4. For ATM balancing queries, members must contact PO’s Branch Support on 0333 345 5567

These issues are not thought to be impacting the balancing of the machine.
