David Enright column: Were you a victim of 'mis-selling' under Network Transformation?

Apr 29, 2024 |

Howe + Co Solicitors are working with the National Federation of SubPostmasters to investigate whether postmasters were victims of ‘mis-selling’ under the National Transformation Scheme (NTS).

On Thursday 4 April, senior lawyers from Howe + Co and a distinguished barrister from Landmark Chambers met with some 70 NFSP postmasters to discuss their experiences of the NTS. A whole range of disturbing accounts were received at that legal meeting.

As a result, Howe + Co designed and published an online form that allows postmasters to provide details of their experiences of the NTS. The purpose of gathering that information is so that Howe + Co can consider if some themes and issues may give rise to a cause or causes of action on behalf of postmasters.

Howe + Co have been acting for postmasters since 2012. We represented almost 50% of postmasters in the Post Office Mediation Scheme from 2012 to 2015. We act for 70% of the victim core participant postmasters, before the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry. We act for hundreds of postmasters across all four of the compensation schemes.

Therefore, if you think you may have suffered financial losses or ill effects due to the National Transformation Scheme, we want to hear from you.

Please click on the link to our online form HERE to provide us with your contact details and details of your experiences.
