NFSP's second event at the Senedd

The NFSP held its second drop-in event at The Senedd on Wednesday 29 January. The event was an opportunity for Ministers of the Senedd to talk to Postmasters and NFSP representatives about issues facing Postmasters in Wales. Some of these issues included; Business Rates, post office closures, the Post Office Green Paper, Royal Mail’s reduced delivery proposals and more

All Ministers were extremely engaged and interested in how they could help support their local Postmasters and the network as a whole.

Following discussions from this event, we will be sending out a survey to members in Wales, collating information about business rates. With this information, we aim to start lobbying for business rate exemption for post office space.

Events in Holyrood and Stormont will be organised later in the year.
