NFSP’s Core Participant status to Horizon Inquiry confirmed

Oct 27, 2021 |

The NFSP has been confirmed as a Core Participant to the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry. The Inquiry’s Core Participant Protocol states: “A Core Participant is a person, an organisation or other entity with a significant interest in the Inquiry”.

NFSP CEO Calum Greenhow stated:
"I was a subpostmaster over the period in question and, like many NFSP members, I want to see a full exploration of the culture and behaviours that enabled this huge miscarriage of justice that affected so many subpostmasters, subpostmasters’ staff and employees of Post Office Ltd. The NFSP has been engaged with the Inquiry since its inception and we will continue to support in any way we can. We will provide further updates as the Inquiry progresses."

Preliminary hearing – 8 November 2021 11am-4pm
A hearing will take place on 8 November which will explore four issues identified by the Inquiry Chair Sir Wyn Williams during a review of the written submissions to the Inquiry’s consultation on its provisional List of Issues earlier in the year.

The hearing will be available for members to view online – for more information, click HERE.

Further information on the issues that the hearing will explore can also be found HERE.
